Station Relations Associate David Edward Sims has been a member of the WFMT Radio Network team since January 2014. He assists with marketing and communications, helping to keep affiliate stations informed of new syndicated shows, and Network records updated. He also assists in the coordination of major projects, often taking care of details, like managing a photo shoot, or keeping track of correction states for a publication.

A lifelong Chicagoan, David holds two bachelor’s degrees: a BFA in painting and communications design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BA in communications and media from DePaul University. His previous positions include serving as creative director for DePaul’s publications office, and as a public information officer for the Illinois Arts Council.

David particularly enjoys contacting our affiliates, whom he sees as “media heroes” keeping the flame of fine arts radio burning brightly around the country and the world.
