M’Jean Mason is a graduate of Benedictine University (BA ’18) and the Illinois Media School (AA ’19), having studied Music Performance (Voice) and Radio, Television, and Film Production, during which time he interned for the Lyric Opera in their Arts/Operations Department. Following his education, he freelanced as an associate audio and video producer on multiple independent projects, including web series “Tip the Tea with Angie E”, and the comedic audio drama “Disappointment Theatre”. He joined Classical WFMT in 2021 as a broadcast operations production assistant, through which he has performed several tasks for the Radio Network. In 2025, M’Jean officially joined the Network as Distribution Coordinator. In his spare time, he enjoys nerd-ing out to musical theatre, comics (X-Men especially!), and vintage cinema.
